Special Events
The Annual Lobster Bake
Make connections and enjoy classic Maine cuisine at our annual lobster bake. Lobster, steak, and vegetarian options will be available, as well as steamed clams, red potatoes, corn on the cob, and strawberry cobbler for dessert. Beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages will also be provided. Tickets for the lobster bake can be purchased when you register for the course.
Informal Sessions
Join us on Monday and Wednesday evening from
7:00 PM to 9:00 PM for a fan favorite activity: informal presentations. Organized and moderated by our faculty, attendees will be given the opportunity to present cases, take questions, and engage in lively conversation about methods and practice.
Forensic Identification Exercise
This year's practical exercise will be led by Bryan Johnson, Major Incident Program Manager for the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation. He'll be leading an activity in Advanced Postmortem Fingerprinting Techniques in a session titled: Identifying Deceased Past the "Norm"
Henry Ryan Memorial Lecture
The 5th Annual Henry Ryan Memorial Lecture has become an additional hour of instruction! Taking place on Tuesday afternoon, this year's topic is The nutshell studies of unexplained death - the remarkable life of Frances Glessner Lee; brought to us by William (Bill) Frank MD.
